A normal boy from a future timeline, who was pulled into this one while riding his Miraidon. They escaped Area Zero together, but he has very little memory of what happened, thanks to the time travel and crystals messing with his head.
In his timeline, biological life was threatened, which resulted in Pokémon and humans alike being turned into androids or roboticized.
His sole goal is to get back to his time while not standing out too badly. While he figures out how to do this, he boards as a STEM student at Uva Academy, where he's known by the other students as a very intelligent but intimidating and private guy.
On his quests, he often ends up alongside Arven, and is leading the charge into Area Zero. As everyone's backstories come to light down there, the crew figures out what's going on with him... a bit too late. Though, in the battle against the AI, the time machine breaks, and Ezl leaves.
...It later turns out he went to Blueberry Academy, so he can get roped into the final plots.
