Blaise

Info

Bio

A boy born to a relatively low-income family in Black City. Having a bit of an inherently unique look and good personality, he was scouted to act, and his parents immediately jumped onto getting him working as much as possible to be the main breadwinner of the family. He was never particularly interested from the beginning, and his disinterest grew into active hatred of acting as he continued working through his childhood. However, he was very skilled at it, and he knew they needed the money, so he'd do his job well, but would be an angry brat on set. Since his parents quickly spent themselves into higher class brackets, and didn't like anyone to know they used to be poor, most people who met more famous tween actor Blaise assumed he acted that way due to being a spoiled rich brat.

Working doing something he doesn't enjoy since he was a child did not do wonders for his mental health, and he began to go off the rails as he hit his teens years, becoming a bit infamous for being an unstable child star. It was all fun and games for people to gossip about until at age 16 managed to get himself into a wreck and severely injured himself. His parents were forced to take him out of working for a period of time to heal, ending up relocating to a second home in Aspertia City, where he met Rosita for the first time…outside work. They had actually met before when younger on set, as both were famous child actors, but they did not get along at all, making both Rosita and her mother dislike him.

Blaise has an Elgyem that he met on one of his misadventures that led him into the middle of a cornfield… and has no memories of. However, that little Elgyem has been following him around ever since. He generally keeps it outside of a Poké Ball, but it has one for when necessary. People do not trust it, but it's good to Blaise. It evolves into Beheeyem during the story.

While originally disinterested in going on a League trip, he wanted to do just about anything besides what his parents told him to do, so he goes along with it.

Historical

A boy from a poor family with no formal education but has a lot of inherent talent. Wants to become a detective, but knows he'd need at least some formal education to get an apprenticeship, so acts like he is richer than he is to get the attention of rich girls and gold digs off of them. This eventually backfires when he meets Rosa, who is also faking her class to gold dig, and they trick each other.

Supernatural

From the future where Team Rocket in the past successfully took control and wiped out the majority of non-humans. Now the Unovan government (and many others) are heavily authoritarian and enact all sorts of measures to control people's emotions and ideologies. Blazing passed his education and physical tests within the top percentile, landing him a job as a government agent. However, something ends up turning his mind a bit against the government, and he ends up stealing a restricted experimental time travel device…

Naturally, he gets himself stuck in modern times. He doesn't know what to do as he doesn't really want to be stuck several generations behind his own, but he also knows going back is certain execution. So he mills about, trying to be normal and not attract attention.

Whether or not he's fully human is up for debate.
